Small acts of kindness can make the biggest differences

When one of my clients gave me some daffodils from the shopping that I was putting away for her, it made my day. Small acts of kindness can make the biggest differences to people's lives. This is what we live and work by and it was so touching to have this come full circle in this gift of flowers.

It has been a bumpy start to the year for Hook Home Help and we have lost some treasured clients recently. We have said goodbye to some as they move into full time care, and to one we have sadly said goodbye forever. We have been a bit quiet both online and in person as we come to terms with these endings.

As the days start to get longer and we see the flowers come out, it reminds us that spring is on its way and with it some new buds and new beginnings. I feel grateful every time I see the daffodils for the kindness of my client in thinking of me, and the reminder that spring is on its way.
