Hook Home Help is helping people in Hook, both in and out of the home.

Hook Home Help has been at the garden centre taking a client on one of her first non essential trips out since the start of Covid. We chose some plants for the garden and some cards for the family. She told me that when her friend asked, "Did Penny drop you off and leave you there?", she told me that she laughed and said, "No, Penny came with me and did everything for me while making me feel like she wasn't".

Then she said, "You are very good at that, at making me feel like I am not disabled and that I can do things, when actually you do everything. That is a very good thing."

We came home with new plants for the first time in years and now they are looking beautiful in the garden and reminding us of a happy trip out.
