Hook Home Help helps with appointments

Yesterday Hook Home Help took someone to a hospital appointment. It can be hard for family to take time off work to get people to all their appointments. This appointment was issued with very little notice so I moved things around to make sure that I could get her there.

Having worked with this lady for over a year I was able to support her in explaining her medical history to the doctor. This made the appointment easier for both my client and the doctor. Later on that day I reported back to the family everything that had been said and what would happen next.

Every client and every family has different needs and different requirements. It is lovely to be able to help both the clients and their families and to make life a little bit easier for everyone. As I said goodbye she said, "Thank you very much for taking me today".
